GenR8 Assemblies
GenR8 was launched in 2001 with a team of five volunteers, and during the first tour visited nine primary schools. Eight years later GenR8 has developed into five teams involving more than 24 volunteers visiting over one hundred primary schools in the Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire area. We also have a team now in Norfolk, who went on tour for the first time at Christmas 2008.
GenR8 produce three or four presentations a year. The presentations cover the themes of Harvest, Christmas, Easter, and other aspects of the Christian faith. Each one is 25-30 minutes in duration.
XcellR8
XcellR8 is a residential weekend away for those aged 8-11. Fun and friendship are on the agenda in a weekend that includes games, challenges, teaching, workshops & puppets, alongside a host of other activities. In the midst of it all is an opportunity for children to discover more about themselves, others and God.

GenR8 Celebrations
To support our work in schools and strengthen links between kids clubs, after school clubs and Sunday groups in the region, we look to organise and run 1 or 2 children's 'celebration' events per year.
The first Praise Party event this year was held at Ely Cathedral on the 14th May 2010.
We are arranging another one soon.

Weekend Team
GenR8 are available to take occasional all-age services in local churches. We can offer either a stand alone all-age service or work in collaboration with members of the local congregation.

Training Days
TRAIN UP is a GenR8 partnership with Christian Resources into Schools, Counties The Diocese of Ely, and Scripture Union. The aim of TRAIN UP is to provide training and resources to those who work with children in the region.
TRAIN UP is an annual training day with key note speaker and workshops on a variety of aspects of work with children.
